Up the toon

My first train journey since March, maybe even this year? I can't remember it all seems such a long time ago. The train was quiet, masks were worn and having dropped my keys not just on the floor, but under the seat, I can confirm that even the carpet looked like it had been cleaned recently.

Met my Mum to help her with the mysteries of her new, first ever smartphone. We need to reconvene tomorrow to finish the job. As a good friend said about her own mother's conversion to a smartphone, "she'll hate it at first, but soon she'll love it".

Edinburgh was quiet, even on the High Street, but nice to have a wee visit after so long.
