Crichton Gardens...

Another super busy day at work, my head was spinning. So after work I decided to take a wee walk to clear my head - it was lovely and tranquil.

"The arboretum and rock garden were created in the early 1920s. Donations of cuttings and seeds came from local landowners, the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh and from as far away as Darjeeling. Interesting specimens include handkerchief trees and peeling bark maples. In 2001 the gardens were awarded the Best Public Park by Britain in Bloom."

After my wee walk, Mike called me to come and get him as his lorry was in the garage getting the night heater fixed.
