Three Things About Elsie

By Joanna Cannon. I've just finished From a Low and Quiet Sea (which I have to say I felt a bit dissatified with, although that probably just makes me a philistine) and I'm now about to start this book. It looks as if that's a jigsaw of a Battenberg cake on the cover but time may tell if I'm right or not. I very much enjoyed The Trouble with Goats and Sheep by the same author, so I hope I'll like this better than my last book.

A duvet day today with Robbie and me keeping each other company. Robbie has been brighter today and I'm hoping that he will stay brighter - he has been a bit subdued at times recently which could be due to the tooth he had extracted yesterday.
