Castle Fraser

With the increased likelihood of further restrictions or partial lockdown being imposed on us Mrs CBL and took ourselves off to visit Castle Fraser this morning instead of next week as planned.

Picnic on arrival, a wander through the well maintained and very attractive walled garden and then through the extensive woodland areas which surround  the castle.  Also for the first time we saw the tree which had been planted close to the castle in memory of Mrs CBL’s late brother.
