Down the Hatch

A good day on the golf course for birds, but no birdies for me. This roadrunner was hunting grubs near the 11th green. I was already on and had time for some shots. It looks like we both got lucky!

The next hole, I spotted this Copper's Hawk (extra) but didn't get him before it went in the shrubs. It was probably hunting some quail.

As Bunker and I went for the mail, there were 4 turkey vultures circling something. I had my camera but was interrupted by a policeman driving by. He stopped and we had a nice chat. I enjoyed that more than getting a shot of the vultures. I am grateful for these brave men and women that keep us safe.
