New addition to the garden

While we were over in Perthshire, we visited Bennybeg Nursery just outside Crieff and bought a few plants for the garden, one being this very attractive Witch Hazel - Hamamelis Arnold Promise. We had a Witch Hazel before when we lived in Lancashire but it didn't really thrive in the alkaline soil there. I'm hoping that this one will be much happier here where we have slightly acidic soil. I love the colour of the autumn leaves and I'm looking forward to seeing the flowers in winter as it seems to have masses of buds.
