Reculver

A happy day out with a Covid-safe five other members of my supportive group of women over 40. We parked by the 12th Century twin towers at Reculver and walked east along the coastal path at the north edge of the oyster beds before turning inland, continuing along the river Wantsum to St Nicholas at Wade. The river provides the local brewery with the most appropriate name I have ever come across and the Post Office has some fine windows.

After a picnic lunch we returned to the cars taking almost the same route except that we kept to the south of the oyster beds where there were no lycra-clad cyclists and slightly less wind.
