Mongrel

We were out walking with friends on the Downs in Bristol this morning and saw this vision of pleasure. I'm sure you will have spotted the 1947 Series E Morris radiator but what isn't obvious is the 3 litre Scimitar engine beneath the bonnet. 

We had a long chat with the proud owner whose height combined with the size of the new engine intruding into the cab means he has to drive it from what was the back seat.

I think the great autumn colours frame this vision perfectly.
