Green fields from Veluwe

Dutch Belt cattle in the green fields of the Veluwe.

Homeward bound I drove along the rural roads of the Veluwe, that's an area in the Mid-East of the Netherlands, with farmland and woods; it's located on the mainland of our country, close to where my sister and her family live in the polder.
That polder is land claimed from the waters, what was a lake till the 60-ies, named the IJsselmeer. Previous to being a lake, those waters were open sea and named Zuiderzee = Southern Sea. It's the 30 kms dyke Afsluitdijk, what was realised in 1933 that keeps the powerful sea away from the borders, the dykes around the IJsselmeer.
