Dig a hole twice the size ....

Late last night I finished off the 2 holes I dug in our lawn earlier during daylight hours to plant some very young apple trees. If the neighbours saw me at 9.30pm I think they may have thought I may have been up to no good - burying some evidence or relative.

I lit tea light lanterns to help me see (useless) and held a small mag torch in my mouth as I attempted to get the trees planted in the ground.

Glad to wake up this morning and see them planted fairly upright!

Ross and Anna loved watering them tonight and if fair weather prevails should be a regular post dinner activity.
