Stoa169

Made it to the Stoa169 installation near Polling at the second attempt this afternoon, meeting up with the Flecks’ which comprises 121 columns created by artists from all over the world. (stoa169.com if you’re interested.) A weekend visit wasn’t too smart though because it was pretty busy but at least everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves wandering around among the columns. My favourites were probably a giant match (Bjorn Melhus), a column of 800 cow knees (extra, Shaarbek Amankul) and My Francaphone Brother by Kwame Akoto-Bamfo which is this blip. But liked lots of others too!
Cycled back to Polling beergarden afterwards and had a good old chinwag before heading home. That’ll be our last cycle ride of the year, they can rest easy.
