Diversion

Berry's latest diversion is to discover stuff in the gravel to bark at. We've had a small pheasant feather, a furry caterpillar, a leaf and today it was some minute grass stalks. Gold star if you can spot them!

Lovely to see a friend briefly this morning, back from her travels. Unfortunately, I also heard of another friend who has had a terrible cancer diagnosis. She was extraordinarily positive when I called her but I'm so gutted for her and her family.

Otherwise a bits and bobs day, more rubbish into the car for the tip tomorrow, forward planning for when we're here.

I spent a lot of my time thinking how lucky I am to have a foreseeable future.
