Caught on the wire

For some reason, most of the photos I took today were out of focus. Badly out of focus!! No idea why. 
I went for a walk down Xwaaqw'um for the first time in weeks and it was wonderful. I liked the way this leaf was caught on the rusty wire and woven in and out of the wire. I thought today would be less busy, but I ended up doing a lot of clean up in the garden, cleaned the bathroom, froze some beets, made another zucchini bread. G came home with a big bag of apples and another of plums from a friend, so more work ahead. Applesauce and a plum clafoutis for sure. Have to say that I'm looking forward to winter and less busy days, although I always find things that need doing.
