Shore Path

It is autumn in Stromness and the sea is getting lively where the golf club road joins the shore path at the old lifeboat station.  
In the foreground are fragments of the 'Harry Snake' line of pebbles and rocks.  Most of the rocks are still there, but now some sections have been moved back to escape being rolled away by the rougher sea.
In the background there are still a few camper vans in the campsite but no tents.  There is about a week to go before the site closes for the winter.
