The Last Summer Sunrise of 2020

TUESDAY  WFH Day #118

As soon as it was light I headed down to the Black Brook Valley and then climbed up through Stubbing Wood towards Stainland. A steep downhill section and then a long climb homewards. A hilly 5 km in 29 mins.

The sun started to rise above the horizon shortly after 7:00 am as I was less than 1 km from home. The Autumn Equinox occurred at 14:30 this afternoon - so technically this was the last summer sunrise of 2020.

Spent all day working from home. The legislative requirements  around the need to display Covid QR codes takes effect from Thursday. In terms of drafting, I've yet to work out if it's a masterpiece or a disaster.

I watched Boris’s address to parliament at lunchtime. Relieved that there is not a national lockdown, but fearful that his proposals don’t really go far enough.
