I knew of Avishai Cohen, of course, but I don't think I'd ever heard him before. Browsing France Télévision's website, I found a video of a concert he and Big Vicious (two guitarists, two drummers) performed last year in a jazz festival in Normandy, Jazz sous les pommiers (Jazz under the apple trees). I loved it, especially a cover of Massive Attack's Teardrop that they later recorded for their new album.
