I was looking for black and white and tiny

I was looking for black and white and tiny for Tuesday but then realized that was unlikely to work with the toy theme.
Oh well.
This is one of the kids in my neighborhood. His parents are very indulgent of me. His mom told me tonight how much she loved the last pictures I sent and that she hadn't realized how color coordinated her son and husband had been that day until she saw it. The father's yellow shirt matched the son's yellow mask.
It is a cool little device that all the cool kids have - it is part stroller, part tricycle. I'm sure the handle can be taken off when they are ready to trike on their own.
I had to remove the handle from the picture or it would have looked like horns coming out his head.

I made two entries into the Miops contest:

and

You've seen the second one posted here. The first one was early in teh pandemic and I thought they looked a bit like bandits. I asked if I could take their picture and they paused and then said yes and posed. I turned it B&W and added a film layer and grain.

I found a poem I wanted to share:

Breathe, a poem by Lynn Unger:

Breathe, said the wind

How can I breathe at a time like this,
when the air is full of the smoke
of burning tires, burning lives?

Just breathe, the wind insisted.

Easy for you to say, if the weight of
injustice is not wrapped around your throat,
cutting off all air.

I need you to breathe.

I need you to breathe.

Don’t tell me to be calm
when there are so many reasons
to be angry, so much cause for despair!

I didn’t say to be calm, said the wind,
I said to breathe.

We’re going to need a lot of air
to make this hurricane together.
