Delicious blackberries

Today we saw so many ripe wild blackberries in hedges and when walking. They tasted delicious and reminded me of picking them in our village in my childhood. These taste so much better than the cultivated variety I have at my allotment...there are three main differences - these taste better, are about half the size and have vicious thorns! Half the size but twice the flavour. I’m surprised not to see anyone picking them, that must be out of fashion?
