Red Cardinal

I was at my usual place today, stalking the red-tailed hawks again. I found one, I think the female, and took a few good shots of her.
But then, just as I was going to leave, a flash of red appeared in front of me. It was a gorgeous red cardinal, who only hung around for about a minute. Just long enough for me to get this photo. I love cardinals!
I think he's got his head twisted backwards!
