Parent and Child

Witley Common is renown for its fungi, so a visit in Autumn is a must for me.  Today was rather damp, but turned out to be one of the best visits for fungi I have enjoyed for many years.  In particular, I have never seen so many Fly Agaric ... they were literally lining up along the pathways!

I rather like this pair; a parent seemingly protecting its child.
