Surprise!

I had no idea it was Autumn. Sure I was feeling the chill. Sure the nights were drawing in, but I didn't actually appreciate we were there. And yet today the leaves were on the ground, the colours popping.

I'm not ready for it, I've got a dodgy boiler and a date to fix it mid October. I wonder what the chances of being allowed to do that will be?

The boy is thinking of a few days in the big city this weekend, he is hoping to meet up with friends from last year. That will be nice for him. As usual, once he finds the football team he gets injured. That's never useful.
