Shock-headed me

The cold and rainy start this morning was bad enough but then the wind came.  It was wild as you can see from this selfie.   Trees have been brought down in the locality.

Reminded me of the unsettling children's book 'Stuwwelpeter' or 'Shock-headed Peter'.   I have a battered copy from my parents house.  Described as 'Merry Stories & Funny Pictures' on the cover, quite frankly the whole book is terrifying and haunted me as a child.
