Call the fire brigade...

... the bush is on fire!!

This euonymus alatus or burning bush is just starting to turn into it's trademark red before dropping it's leaves.

Still wearing shorts but, although it was bright and sunny, the temperature was much cooler today. 

There were still some swallows flying about which was good to see.

RF and I cooked a lovely curried chicken and potato dish tonight.
