Trident Dried out on the Careening Hard

This blip shows Trident dried out on the careening hard for maintenance prior to the 2013 visitor season.
There are two of this catamaran design, Trident's 5 and 6.
They both carry foot passengers the 3 miles across to Herm Island during the summer months although there is at least one ferry running every day to help keep Herm serviced!
Just to the left of the picture on Trident's starboard side is a motor boat with a green stripe. This motorboat is called Court McSherry I believe and it carries a plaque confirming that she is a "Dunkirk Small Ship" one of 700 which rescued a total of 338,000 British and French soldiers from the beach at Dunkirk in 1940.

On a different note...huge thanks to all of you who propelled our Pink Dawn into the spotlight, we are very, very grateful...

Weather today is beautiful and almost summery...long may it last and, I hope the sun is shining on all of you happy blippers too
