Contre-jour

This morning I recognised someone beyond his mask, from his voice and his forehead. We worked out that we hadn't seen each other for about 20 years. We'd forgotten each other's names - complicated by him having several - and both of us have changed hair-colour since then.

I am reassured that it seems important to make connections.
