Day 193 since lockdown began

Did a bit of shopping this morning and had a coffee where we learnt the manager of the big cost o has had a stroke. Quite a bad one apparently and the girls in the small costa do not  think he will return to work.
For. Lunch ma de pear and fennel soup
Made some green chutney and while it was bubbling away I dug up the text of the potatoes and potato area ready for the winter. The soil is lovely. In one of the raised beds I will plant broad beams to over winter and on the other manure seeds ready to be dug in in the spring. The third one is still a work in progress.
Alan is off to evening class tonight and I may sew a gaiter mask for him or go for a walk with yas
(The chutney is a bit on the Vinegary side so if anyone has any ideas please help. Right amount of ingredients and vinegar were added )
