A Fog-Bound Moose & A Lobster Roll

Well today was certainly a learning experience.  For a while now, we have been looking for a waterfront property in Maine to buy as an investment (read summer rental property) and a spot for us to enjoy off-season.  Several weeks ago, we looked at an adorable cottage which we fell in love with, but got pipped at the post in the bidding war that ensued.  Today we drove back to Maine to check out another property that, based on the computer listing photographs, looked like a real contender.  Oh, what a disappointment!  In reality, it was not going to fit the bill at all.  The only really great part of the property was this fabulous moose weathervane  (I've added a crumpled texture to it to show our overall disappointment.) To further our discouragement, the weather was awful, gray, foggy as can be, and drizzly.  The good news is that we had a delicious lobster roll for lunch, and we enjoyed some gorgeous Fall colours on the drive to and from Boston.  The journey continues ...
