Village Square

I took this picture on the way back from the laundrette this afternoon. It’s been so wet and muddy we’ve run out of clothes and the laundry basket was overflowing with muddy, damp clothes. Nice.
We dodged the showers today and had a lovely walk and cycle down to Weybourne station. As we walked down we ended up a few feet in front of a girl in Miss E’s year with her parents. They don’t really know each other so it was a bit awkward. They ignored each other and we made small talk with the parents about it being a small world.
Thankfully they carried on walking at the station and we went in for a cup of tea. I love the waiting room at the station, like stepping back in time.
The afternoon was spent playing, reading and writing in Marshall and a very relaxing hour in the laundrette!
