Single or double?

Don't ever recall seeing a maize (corn) field sown like the one on the right with a double row. Normally they are always as on the left. Will be interesting to see how it pans out & whether the harvesting machines cope with it.

Lovely day & lots of young people at the local lakes, cars mainly from non locals. Hope they are socially distancing ´!?
