I know this is an awful photo but I wanted to mark the day that we have finally had some success with contacting our electricity company in the Canaries. I have been emailing them in Spanish, they ask me for ID, I send the ID, then they send an email saying I need to send ID, which I did six times last week, then they closed the case. Today I persuaded my husband to call the company and ask to speak in English. We were answered by a very well spoken and patient chap who hopefully has sorted out our problem. We need to wait 24 hours to find out, crossed fingers. The issue has been making us both feel ill.
