The weather was as had been forecast beautiful today, warm sunshine this afternoon,  so I got the lawns cut and pruned a lot of the storm damage away. The garden is looking much better for it. My asters are all flowering now and looking lovely considering most of the other flowers have finished.
The bees were also busy on the sedum.

I had a dreadful night, unable to get comfortable in bed with my back, I came downstairs at 3.30 am to make a cup of tea. I went back up at 5am and eventually got a couple of hours sleep. It has been more comfortable today and although I’ve been taking regular paracetamol for the pain, I've managed to keep mobile which always helps my back.
