Finlayson

Took a walk in downtown Tampere with my camera today - something I should do more often, I think. It's easy to take hundreds of pictures while travelling but forget all about photographing your home town.

This one is from the old Finlayson cotton mill. Industrial production there came to an end in 1995 but the former industrial premises flourish today as an active cultural and business centre. One of my favourite restaurants, for example, is located there.
