Finally: Rain!

And the big news of the day - of the MONTH, actually - is that we finally got some rain. And it wasn't just a little piddling rain, like the bit we got a few days ago. Just a drizzle that was. Not enough to quench the thirst of all the plants.

But on this day, we had some drenching downpours, and rain that lasted for hours at a time. It was just wonderful. We really needed the rain, and while this rain probably doesn't make up for all of the precipitation we've been missing, it most certainly HELPED. And we are indeed grateful.
