Plan A today was to go on the moors for a walk as it's been such a beautiful day.
However, someone wanted to come and view a car we are selling so we had to wait until lunchtime.
Said car, the one I bought at the beginning of the year, has spent most of the last nine months in our garage, due to lockdown and more recently, because I've been driving the smart car. I don't want to have two big cars so it has to go, for financial reasons if nothing else.
The family turned up as planned and as JD knew them, suggested that they take the car for a spin.
While out they thought they'd look under the bonnet and there, looking up at them (with unseeing eyes) was a rat!!!!
Honestly it could only happen to us. 
Im not sure if it was the price or the rat that put them off but we still have 3 cars :-/

In the afternoon we went to Torquay for a stroll around Cockington Park and afterwards took Jorgie to meet my friend's dog Monty for the first time.
