Tall

The day started grey and l knew it was likely to rain as l had a hair appointment. It did the last time. I was on my way to Topsham thinking of what to photo for wide wednesday and the theme of tall. Maybe a local church. As l was arriving l spotted the tall water tower in the distance. Where l park the car was opposite a cemetery and l thought the water tower must be nearby. I found it but couldn’t get that close to it and chose this shot of a column appearing taller than the water tower behind it. It wasn’t raining at that point but it was by the time l left the hairdressers.

This afternoon l set up a short zoom trial for some of our book club. The group has split into two so we can meet up in a garden but given the current wet weather it may end up being a zoom meeting on Friday.
