Blue, his ball and riders

Two halves. A reasonably fine morning when we went for a walk around our favourite lanes. This afternoon, increasingly wet and windy.

While in the Woodland Trust we came across Brian, one of our neighbours, with his dog Blue. Blue is a biggg dog as you can see by the size of the jockeys waiting to get on his back. He’s also very possessive with his ball, teasing you by putting it down and temping you to pick it up only to grab it as soon as you make a move.

I did get the chance to call in at the allotment to pick a carrier bag full of beans, all the pears on the tree and collect windfall apples. Oh! And repair the brassica cage which promptly collapsed again at the first stronger gust of wind.

We finished the afternoon humping furniture back into one of Doreen’s bedrooms which David had decorated while away. Reward was a fish and chip supper which sustained me for the Marmite Ukulele Jam zoom session.
