This time last year

Another ‘this time last year’ memory. On this day last year we visited Crathes Castle near Aberdeen. We do love a good castle and this is a particularly nice one. It's domesticated rather than defensive, a tower house rather than a castle. The peaceful mood feels welcome after the warlike debate yesterday.
