From Manod Mawr

A great walk today.

Avoiding all the busy spots whilst having a great walk is so so easy in Snowdonia, essentially avoid Snowdon, Cadair and maybe the Glyders and you can have the mountains nearly to yourself. We headed off towards Blaenau and decided to walk up Manod Mawr although we were tempted by some Moelwyn action.

A nice wander up from Manod village up through some old slate workings on to the summit and then back down the valley around the other side gave us a nice 5 hour round hike.

The views were amazing today and in the pano from left to right are the Moelwyn's, Blaenau, Snowdon and Crib Goch, the Glyders and then a tiny bit of Tryfan poking out. People seen 1 person in 5 hours
