Beningbrough Hall.

As we are up at caravan, my main walk today as been at Beningbrough Hall, a national trust property In the village of Newton on Ouse which is a few mile north of York.
We didn’t go in to the grounds of the Hall itself, but there are plenty of walks surrounding it, one of which goes alongside of the river Ouse.
Darren’s hunch that today would be dry was correct, as of 5 o’clock this afternoon it’s remained rain free and he is glad he came up to caravan yesterday afternoon rather than his original plan of coming Saturday, which if the forecast is correct is going to be a washout.
As you can see from photo, I’ve been photographed in front of the Hall, it’s certainly a big house, and I’d love it if we had a garden as big back at home :-)
