Sculpted by the wind

This old fuchsia hedge has been growing all its life in the teeth of the gales and almost constant wind which batter these shores, and it really shows! 

Strange weather recently. After a few nice warm days, when you were out of the wind, today the temperature was 5.6°C first thing! Took Lottie a walk wearing a hat, scarf and gloves! (All hand knitted, obviously - as was my jumper and my socks - I think I might need counselling!)
