Silly Saturday Selfie

We woke up to a miserable, dark and wet morning, so decided to go out for breakfast at Brasserie Blanc as a treat.  I think the last time we went out for breakfast was to Wheatfields Bakery Cafe in Lawrence, Kansas where they did a rather addictive ‘biscuits and gravy’ but today we had to settle for a full English, which was rather good.

Later, we waited for a break in the weather to go for a walk but as the rain didn’t really ease off we went out anyway dressed for the weather.  I didn’t want the rain to ruin my hair so wore this Tilley hat; for some reason every time I wear it W starts singing the theme to Raiders of the Lost Ark.  Can’t imagine why.
