Feather in gold

Wet! Wet! Wet! So it had to be a feather today, if we had them instead of hair maybe the rain would have run off us today!
It's the Cheltenham Literary Festival and it is being live streamed this year as well as having a small audience in the venues. Today I listened to the ex Ambassador to the US, Kim Darroch,  talking about his time in Washington. Although I love attending the festival in person it was handy to listen to this talk whilst making a cuppa and putting away the washing!
