Hornets

I visited the hornets again today, now with another lens on my camera. This way I could get them closer, relatively.
Whilst I was watching them and taking pictures, the one on the main came slowly out of the nest, focussing on me. Like a gunman in an old Western, John Wayne or so, in the final showdown.
The blip was taken at his moment of take-off. My next action was withdrawal, as many of you surely can imagine.
The extra shows the entrance of the nest, with fourfive hornets.
