Bottle Brush Blooming

I was in the back yard when I found this blooming bottle-brush bush just beyond the gate. It is growing beside the rock fireplace on a side of the front yard that I don't visit much.

With its beautiful red, I thought it was a perfect entrance into the Valentine's holiday, and I like the silhouette on the fireplace rock. This is a favorite holiday. It's just so much fun.
