A windy day

This morning I lay in bed for an hour listening to the radio, hearing wind and rain outside. There was no reason to get up before dawn. Only after lunch did I put on my cycling clothes.  With a southwesterly wind force 5, I felt I had no choice but to do a lap where I took advantage of tailwind at the end, which meant I had to go through the forest and over hills.

It was not very busy on the road. Day trippers had clearly stayed home. There were also no motorcyclists with their noisy machines. Apparently most of the traffic is caused by people just driving around. There were a lot of hikers. Hikers are not alarmed by a breeze or splash of rain. And then there were a few touring cyclists. The die hards. Há!
