Mini mushroom.....

Dry after yesterday’s 2 inches of rain.
An early drop off for Littlemiss for day two of her D of E tramping about the Pentland hills . She started off above West Linton then we picked her up this afternoon near Balerno, at Harlaw reservoir.
The place was hoaching with folk walking about, bikes, cars parked everywhere. One field of rape had a track up the middle and it was like a city street full of folk. I couldn’t farm some where like that !
In between times ,managed to nip down the road and feed the heifers. Managed to get the next lot due to come home onto the track with some feeding as a practice run. I’m sure when it’s the real thing they won’t follow a bag !
Took the dogs a walk round a field tonight and spotted this tiny wee fungi hiding in the stubble. Presume it isn’t edible by the look of it !
And just to round the day off nicely, it’s raining again.
