October, the month given to raising awareness of breast cancer.

This pink mandevilla vine is growing up the post that holds my hummingbird feeder.

My dear friend got me into hummingbirds, we would talk for ages about our little visitors comparing notes.

The hummingbirds have headed south and I need to clean the feeder and store it away.

I missed those talks this year.

Today the last of the flowers were gently blowing in the wind, a little feather rested on one of it’s leaves and I knew she was listening.
