Amidst the Wisteria....

Our Wisteria is a picture at the moment. Lovely trusses of lilac-toned flowers. Of course the petals are already falling and we have “Purple Rain” on our patio. Very pretty. In amongst the flower trusses hangs a bi-plane made of aluminum beer cans. Many years ago I met an elderly man who had made these planes and was selling them at the Rai Valley A&P annual show. I bought several planes from him. We still have some. They are cleverly constructed and have worn well over the years.
