Hoopoe

I went out this morning for a walk, and then decided to go to see the hoopoe which is currently in Collingham near Wetherby. I thought that if it looked to be a very busy twitch, I wouldn't bother.

In the end there were maybe 15-20 people watching, all well behaved with pretty good social distancing on the whole.

This gorgeous little bird was so close and was a delight to watch. :)
