Pigeon portrait

Not one of my more exciting pictures I know. However I thought the feral chequered pigeon who lives by the canal, was looking most handsome with his metallic sheen. I presume he is in peak condition for the breeding season.
Looking forward to a weekend trip to Manchester-hope to catch up with a few friends.
